How Exsol Solfield collects, uses and protects personal data through this website.
Effective 6 September 2026
This policy explains how Exsol Solfield LTD handles personal data collected through this website. It does not cover the ENLISEC, VASSURE or CONFICIENT platforms, which are governed by the agreement entered into for that product.
Who we are
Exsol Solfield LTD is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered in Nigeria and can be reached at info@exsolsolfield.com.ng, or at 9 Kennedy Thompson Street, Gbetu Layout, by Maiyfair Gardens, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
What we collect
This website collects very little. Specifically:
Information you send us directly. If you email one of the addresses published on our contact page, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records the IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamp of requests, as any web server does.
This site has no contact form, no account system and no advertising or analytics tracking. We do not buy personal data, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to continue that conversation.
To keep the website secure, available and working correctly.
To meet obligations the law places on us.
Lawful basis
Where the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interest for responding to enquiries and operating the site securely, on your consent where you have given it, and on legal obligation where we are required to retain records.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to operate the site and our email, and they process data only on our instructions. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our providers operate outside Nigeria. Where personal data is transferred internationally we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to an equivalent standard.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with them and to keep a record of our correspondence. Server logs are retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, object to or restrict how we use it, and request a copy in a portable format. You may also complain to your data protection authority. In Nigeria that is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
To exercise any of these, email info@exsolsolfield.com.ng.
Security
We are a cybersecurity company and we apply the same expectations to ourselves. Access to personal data is limited to those who need it, and data in transit to this site is encrypted.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
